The winner of this prestigious award is Delfo designed by
Andrea Parisio and Giuseppe Pezzano, a washbasin with a
sculptural and sophisticated soul enriched by a generous
storage cabinet. With its pure and essential design, it is a
solution of high industrial craftsmanship which, depending
on the diverse customisations, presents itself with exciting
simplicity to the point of becoming a precious element of the
home's most intimate environment. The distinctive trait of
Delfo, which won over the jury made up of 50 authoritative
international exponents from the world of design and some
of the most influential architecture firms in the world, is its
versatility. With its infinite combinations, numerous
possibilities of colour combinations and compact
dimensions (113 x 52 or 76 x 52 cm), Delfo's design is at the
same time minimal, practical and refined, subtly playing the
contrasts: between wood and ceramic, between rigour and
sinuosity, between solidity and lightness.
